For many years, The LCN has served the needy in the community during the holidays with food baskets. This year, we will continue that tradition started with Thanksgiving baskets.
To build these baskets, we rely on food donations from the members of our congregation and community. We need:
- 5 lbs. Potatoes Juice Candy or Mint
- Pkg. Carrots Cranberry Sauce Olives
- 3-4 Onions Thanksgiving Napkins Stuffing Mix
- Pickles Canned Peas Jello/Pudding
- Rolls Canned Corn Gravy
- $20 grocery giftcard for Turkey
Items will be collected until Sunday, Nov. 24th. They can be brought in on Sunday mornings or dropped off in the Church Office on Monday From 4pm-8pm. If you are bringing perishable food, it is a good idea to call the Church Office at 508-946-5287 to make sure someone is available to put it in the refrigerator.
If you know someone in need who could benefit from one of the food baskets, they can sign up in the Church Office starting Nov. 1 or fill out the form at the following link. Baskets will be distributed on Nov. 25th from noon-2 p.m.
